Sunil Thukral, CPA, CFA

Sunil has two decades of business experience working in Technology, Financial Services, Life Sciences and diversified industries.  His background includes external financial reporting and accounting policy research for Pre-IPO and Fortune 1000 companies.

In his career, Sunil has effectively dealt with a wide range of complex and non-routine transactions under U.S. GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) primarily relating to revenue recognition, non-financial asset impairments, acquisitions and dispositions, complex financial instruments, consolidation, foreign exchange, off-balance sheet exposures, derivatives and hedging.  He has an expert’s grasp of U.S. GAAP reporting requirements, and he works closely with the Big Four accounting firms clients to assist them in compliance with the complex U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. 

Sunil is a fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Certified Public Accountant in the U.S. (Colorado) and Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. He also has Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from University of Delhi and Diploma in Japanese Language (2 year part-time) from University of Delhi.

Sunil is based in San Francisco Bay Area, California and speaks four different languages. He has worked internationally, including five years in Thailand
